AUDITIONS ANNOUNCED FOR WORLD
PREMIERE
The MIRA Theatre Guild announces auditions
for COMPARED TO WHAT? A new play about the
Pullman Porters by Oakland playwright Judith Offer.
The cast is comprised of six characters, ages 18-55.
Male & Female, African American & European American.
It is set in West Oakland in 1926.
Auditions will be on the theatre's stage at
51 Daniels Avenue, Vallejo
April 16-17, from 1:00-6:00 pm.
Performances of COMPARED TO WHAT?
Will be July 8-23, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays.
Rehearsals will be three evenings during the
week and one weekend afternoon.
Auditioners attending either casting calls
should prepare a 2 minute monologue
and bring headshots if available.
You may also be asked to read from script.
